This Is A Huge Problem!! We Need Grenades Nerfed NOW!!
Here's the problem. Grenades like arcbolt and firebolt chain off of enemies. Although this okay in PvE, in PvP it is an absolute disaster.
Grenades are unfairly earning us kills. Although many people complain about Thorn's burn, it at least requires you to aim at the player (which actually takes skill). TLW and Thorn are both being bashed waaaay too much. They are both MLG worthy guns in case you didn't know.
In any case, if team mates during control decide to run out in front of you, regardless of what you are doing, you will get hurt by an enemy's arcbolt if it is chained off the scrub that charged in recklessly (let's not even get to firebolt with touch of flame and Viking funeral).
When the stormcaller warlock is released from TTK DLC it will have lightning grenades that will chain off of players that are impacted by it. Once more, certain exotic armors (*ahem voidfang vestments) will [i]reward[/i] bad kids with another super duper CHEAP GRENADE that will rack them kills like no one's business after respawning from death.
This gets back to my original point: arcbolt, firebolt and the new [b][i][u]OVERPOWRED[/u][/i][/b] lightning grenade from the stormcaller need to be changed [u]ASAP[/u]. The multiplayer that we all know and love deserve these changes for the best of competitive gaming.
So please - let's express our disproval to Bungie here. Maybe these grenades should be replaced entirely. What do you guys say?

Yeah I've noticed a real buff to the lightning grenade. But every subclass gets a good grenade. Grenades are just right the way that they are. Every iron banner week it never fails. The crybabies raid the forums.

1 ReplyI think supers are too Op in crucible. It kills me every time and take no skill to golden gun 3 people. Supers need to be taken out entirely and replaced with hugs. But wait! Then the hugs would get too op from all the blink hugging... Man guess well need to nerf those too

Grenades are fine Its just that all sticky grenades act like magnets I wish they were like plasmas in halo Also, sometimes firebolts burn kills me with just one grenade but sometimes it doesnt

Sticky Grenades piss me off way more than Firebolts/Arcbolts. In Trials, you know exactly what loadout the enemy players are using, so just plan for it. If you see a group of Sunsingers/Bladedancers, just know they are going to spam them at the first choke point at the start of each round. Equip a sniper and just keep your distance. Problem solved.

Agreed. Grenades getting you kills is absolutely absurd, just remove them from the game entirely, or better yet, replace them so they are totally useless and do no damage, just explode into glitter. I mean, Grenades getting kills, what a disaster! Idiot.

I thought they were under powered. It is a grenade. It should do high damage like a rocket. Maybe we should ask those to be nerfed in the crucible. I should be able to take a couple rockets with out dying.
