I used to play on PS4 and as soon as I switched to Xbox360, I began to get disconnected from XBL (Xbox Live). I either get the Error Code: Caterpillar, or I get disconnected from XBL with no error code at all (I have gotten Hawk and Mongoose once). I have tried all the Fixes from the Help page on the Error Codes Cattle/Caterpillar. My NAT is open, my ports are open for my xbox (I DMZ-ed my xbox), and I have switched from Wifi to connecting with an Ethernet chord, none of these solutions have worked. this problem only happens while running Destiny.
Also, strangely, I think it might be when trying to connect to some players. when connecting to other players. I will be disconnected from the XBL Party, receive the Error Code: Caterpillar, and possibly be disconnected from XBL. or just be Disconnected with no Error Code. and sometimes, after I try to reconnect to XBL (while still running Destiny) I will Get the Error Code: 8015190E.
there are 2 solutions from the Error Code: 8015190E the match solutions people have found on the internet... strange. those 2 solutions were to clear the system cache and fix your corrupted profile (redownloading your profile)
Solution: Microsoft recently updated their error code page for the error code listed above (8015190E) to include a solution to change the IP address on your console. After I did this I haven't disconnected once. I hope this can help all of you like it has helped me.
I have been having this issue too (I keep getting Caterpillar). Oddly enough I don't have any problems with my other games just Destiny. The only solution seems to be to reset the modem and that is only a temporary solution.
