It's "default" for a reason. It is the best balance for most players. Sniper focused may want to drop 1-2. I run 7 myself. Preference more than anything. I don't snipe much in PVP and being a hair faster on the look I think helps but those situations really don't come up often. Anyone saying 10 is a COD carryover.

I play on 8 and do beast in sniping Its all about personal preference but i can see how many snipers would prefer 1-2 8 makes it easier for me to kill multiple players at once
