Is it old gen? Or is it greedy companies still catering to old gen for revenue?
They could have just released on current gen but that's a loss for them in income.

Destiny was being developed before ps4 and xbox one were announced. Therefor their contract with activision promissed full support to the old gen during the first destiny game
