RAID: Why is no one talking about this...
So this second DLC came with zero Raid... When we expressed concern & complained about this Bungie said "ohh look, a shiny horde mode" & their little fan club here said "[b]jusht you guysh wait, Sheres ghonna be anosher Raid later for fwee. Bungie ish sho awshome"[/b]
Yeah, no new raid & horde mode kinda sucks the balls big time (ToO yeah laggggggggg)... So now with the Lame King dropping soon & no mention of an [b]interim[/b] raid, are we to assume that we have once again bait & switched??
I really liked this game when it first dropped. But seeing all that was "promised" with the original destiny (trailers, marketing snipets, etc.) & how we are just now getting it with this second DLC, I cannot see how anyone is willing to drop their money before anything is proven to us by Bungie... For that matter, why continue feeding the troll that is Bungie?
Don't disappoint guardians, I expect some hate for this post so let's do this!!
[b]Edit: (for science)[/b] This entire post goes to show that people read the title & the bold words... Most of you missed the main point of this post & man is it funny. [i]season pass marketing said TdB raid & HoW Raid, HoW drops & we are told "no raid is coming till later in the year"... Thus why should we trust them to deliver on everything they are saying is gonna be in TTK? I mean they have it in the user agreement that they can change whatever they want whenever they want. So let's [b]wait to buy TTK till after release[/b][/i]

4 RepliesThere was no raid promised before Taken King. If you were under that impression, you were mistaken. Poe and Trials both provide ample entertainment in my book.

3 RepliesOkay the community asked for a horde mode and they gave us one. They made PoE because they obviously weren't ready for a raid. I criticize Bungie all the time, but I'm fine with PoE and not a new raid. Just sayin

2 RepliesThere are plenty of good games coming out this year, so why don't you just move on? It's okay when Destiny isn't your game, but hating on the forums won't do anything. I personally really liked HoW, it was much more than we got with TDB and the story missions are fun. PoE is okay (nothing really special) but ToO is so much fun for me and my clan, we play every weekend.

I just got my Xbox one yesterday and traded in my 360. ESO has pulled me away from the bungievision teet thank god. I don't think I will go back to destiny...... Maybe but they way they scheme and screw over Xbox users I don't think I'm gonna pay $80 just to be able to play again after I've already played for everything once

I agree, the way they spun it with HOW they gave the impression they hadn't finished the raid and it would follow in a few months when complete. They certainly didn't allude to it being part of a separate DLC. I agree a bait and switch. Although not specifically stated I suspect they knew exactly how it sounded and the assumptions we were all making.

The majority of people asked for a horde mode though, it just needs better rewards etc to make it more like a raid.

People need to shut up about a how raid. They never promised a raid, they said THERE WOULD BE NO RAID, why does everyone think oh a raid will come before ttk? People speculated that the arena was a raid, and when that was proved false people started this crap. They never did a bait and switch tactic. If you paid any attention you would know destiny reserves the right to change their product at any point, including upcoming releases.

I don't mind not having a new raid at all. the only thing is, Prison of Elders only greatly strengthens the stereotype that all you do in destiny is shoot things.

I don't think they promised a raid. Some of the leaked material mentioned a raid, but that never became official. I would be interested to know where that went as it was probably fallen themed, and TTK is obviously going to be Hive/Taken themed. But I'm with you on the end game content. All characters 34, etheric light (the only items I really wanted) probably won't do me much good after TTK is released, and I suck at ToO ...so yeah, kind of bored.
