In an elimination game type k/d ratio means a lot. Your team might be winning and you might be the best one on the team, but the numbers show over the timeline of trials that I'm performing better than you are. That stat can be skewed somewhat, I've been on a couple of bad teams. In that case I would be responsible for more kills than my team, elevating my stats.
