Hunter river? Where abouts in Australia?

I'm in Newcastle also just having pet from out of state isn't unusual . I have a heap of Tarantulas that are native to Qld .

Hell yeah but I think my kids will end out with them that 70 yr lifespan is crazy . I've had them for around 10 yrs now they're in a 4 ft tank with a moulded background with waterfall's coming out of the back wall. Floating dock and some feeder fish

Nice that sounds pretty sweet. I've got a Red Foot Tortoise so I know how you feel with the lifespan thing. Mine is in a 4x2x2 currently with a lot of plant life. He is only about a year old now though.

I went with hair grass poss and Anubis in my tank was great keeping oh lvl intact yet they just keep eating them so I gave up after a few years
