It's called treating original/dedicated players well. Field scout was replaced by casket/extended mag. These changes are indirect nerfs (thanks nerf threads). It is unlikely that they'll remove the perks as they've been unwilling to take perks from rolled perk guns in the past. Some of the new perks are interesting though and currently new and old perks cannot be mixed.
