Despite all your observations you never notice that there wasnt any actuall bullets in these clips, mags etc? They are more like energy packs and the gun just shoots dense particle clusters or there is some energy to mass conversion.

And yet my shotgun still loads shells individually... It doesn't matter what it's shooting, it matters how it's shooting it.

Yeah and there are shotguns that utilize mags and drums but despite that we still like popping them in the hatch
