To be frank auto rifles were pretty noticbly overturned and other gun classes needed a bit of a buff. The main issue balance wise now is that they hit auto rifles waaaaay too hard. They need to improve damage dramatically but also the "dropoff rate. " This would put it nicely in line with its weapon line and buff it's damage while not being super jacked.
Lastly pvp in this game is fantastic and the game was balanced with both in mind. Heck they even make total sense in lore as live fire exercises.
