I got an idea. Let's pit every segment of this fanbase against one another, then cast blame at one another rather than holding Bungie accountable for their constant missteps.
AR nerf hurting PvE? Don't believe anyone asked for that. Just to chill the time to kill on ARs in PvP. Bungie, in their magnificent wisdom decided everyone had to suffer. Sorry it hurt your experience. It hurt a lot of people's experience in PvP, too. We're in this together. Bungie has made that clear by effecting us both. But, they should be blamed for poor execution, not the guy wanting more variety in his PvP experience.

Seriously? You're blaming Bungie? Activision is the root of all evil! They're forcing Bungie in to doing things and making decisions they wouldn't normally do or make. If you want to blame anyone, blame the freaking money grubbing, blood sucking, evil, owners of CoD: Activision.

The funny part is that they already proved that they could separate the damage variables from PvE/PvP with the shotgun buff. But Bungie was like: "Naww, man. We're just going to make them suck no matter what you're trying to play." :P
