You know who you are. You're the bottom feeding T-bagging scum who have drifted over from Call of Duty. You looked out your grimy windows and saw a beautiful space epic RPG shooter and you thought, "hey that might be fun!"
With Doritos fuzz on your fingers and Mt. Dew stains on your shirt you traveled to the land of MMO's bringing your poor sportsmanship with you while the scent of B.O. and virginity traveled in your wake.
Upon your arrival you marveled at a game that seemed to have it all, and then you promptly shit all over it.
Now gone are the days when Autorifles were useful. "Nerf this," you said! "Nerf that!"
"Its not fair," you cried whenever you were killed by a popular Exotic. "My sense of self worth is directly tied with my k/d."
Now the forums are full of semi-literate trolls and Beta Males, whining and crying about this or that.
"The Thorn sucks."
"The thorn is too OP!"
"Blade dancers aren't fair!"
"Shoulder dash isn't fair!"
"Warlock melee isn't fair!"
Now a once beautiful game is a zombie horror of what it once was. With pieces cut out and others hastily stitched in Destiny has become a Frankenstein's Monster.
Iron Banner couldn't make you happy, the Trials of Osiris won't either.
This game is so much more than the Crucible, but your constant bitching, and whining, and griping affects the Glorious land of PvE and you are only a small demographic of a larger community.
"But Crucible takes more skill because it is real people therefore I'm better than you," you say between bites of your most recent hot pocket.
I disagree. PvP elitists are scum. You're either a boohoo whiner that "everybody uses (insert good or fun gun)"
Or you are a pathetic braggart who thinks they are amazing because they can blink and use a shotgun.
Stop complaining. Stop whining. Quit bitching about a game that you have clearly sunk more than 100 hours into. If you really hated it you would have quit.
Sincerely,
A guy who can't stand your constant whining.

The players you describe are not pvpers lol, the real pvpers played 100s of hours of crucible in alpha and beta then realised shortly after the actual release that crucible balance had been ruined and was no longer worth playing very much. All that was needed at that point was a moderate buff to pulse a large buff to handcannons to bring them in line and it would have been perfect, there were no nurfs needed anywhere. Then the calamity started, nerfing some archetypes and buffing other in the same patch was always going to fk everything up and lead to mass debalancing over and over every patch. The worst thing is pulse and handcannons have had about the correction they needed since then and are right where i would have put them, but everything else is now out of line where they would have been balanced if they just changed those two and left everything else.

This^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ is actually true lol, I never hear people complaining about thorn being OP in raids or strikes etc. Only crucible lol
-
Pve players are the biggest moaners out there
-
Even though there's #satire, OP is still half right.

Edited by StiviX: 5/14/2015 3:44:27 PMOP there's a trend in Bungie games starting with Halo 2. The SMG/assault rifle/auto rifle always gets nerfed. Always. Besides, the final say on a nerf is based on the statistics gathered on weapon use anyways.
Shoulder dash
Haha

Sorry but you lost me at epic Space RPG shooter. Shooter is about the only part of that statement that is correct. There is no epic RPG here, lol

MEGA-BUUUUUMP
And I am not good at Destiny PvP
Almost got me, then I saw #satire
With Doritos fuzz on your fingers and Mt. Dew stains on your shirt... "But Crucible takes more skill because it is real people therefore I'm better than you," you say between bites of your most recent hot pocket.
I died after these parts BEST POST EVER

I enjoy PvP but also agree with this post it does get boring seeing the nerf this nerf that threads. maybe Bungie should add a separate PvP message board so we can see the important stuff like "I'm quitting as I've not got G.Horn"

To be frank auto rifles were pretty noticbly overturned and other gun classes needed a bit of a buff. The main issue balance wise now is that they hit auto rifles waaaaay too hard. They need to improve damage dramatically but also the "dropoff rate. " This would put it nicely in line with its weapon line and buff it's damage while not being super jacked. Lastly pvp in this game is fantastic and the game was balanced with both in mind. Heck they even make total sense in lore as live fire exercises.

Pvp is a plague which slowly drains every game - all the pvp'ers gripe when they can't adapt
-
Well realistically speaking most of us drifted from cod. It was and has been out way before destiny sooo...
-
I only teabag once tea bagged upon. Is that a legal maneuver?
-
Why is there so much hate on doritos, mountain dew and hot pockets....
-
Skip...... oh there it is the comment section

Shoulder dash... i stopped reading

Muted for being a moron btw didn't bother reading

As much as i agree that PVP is a source of unfortunate change, there does seem to be a good number of PVE Players that ask for nerfs. I can't say all the nerf requests are from PVE dudes but (coming from a PvE primarly playing dude) PVE players think they're "all that" in Destiny and get shwacked in PVP and think the game is out of whack. I think there does need to be constant tweaking of weapons/classes and I don't believe it is balanced right now (example Felwinter, Thorne, Pulse rifles being OP), but just to say that it may not be the PVP Players but more the PVE players.

Edited by cows: 5/14/2015 4:19:22 AMI'm a pvper and I've enjoyed it every step of the way lol. Probably because I adapt better tham others but idk. I am getting a bit tired of the hand cannon phase but I still enjoy pvp. I only have complaints about bugs, so you can count me out of this :) I disagree with this thread only because the people you are referring to are primarily pve players who try pvp occasionally, hate it every time and only complain about the most commonly used weapons. No good and frequent pvper complains about that stuff.

I prefer PvE above all else, in every game ever. I buy games for the stories, and for the chances to co-op missions with other players. I hated all of the CoD games for their major lack of story and focus on PvP. The only things I liked in those games were Spec Ops missions. I finally started playing Crucible because my fireteam friends were tired of Raids and Strikes, as was I. It started out rough but I've gotten better. Honestly if you jump into 6v6 with at fireteam of at least 4 friends, you'll usually do just fine. Playing alone with people you don't know destroys the fun and makes the game infinitely harder. I still prefer PvE but I've learned that Crucible can be fun with the right team.

What's PVE?
-
The forums are getting more and more toxic by the day

Agreed

Edited by Elitespear: 5/14/2015 8:38:27 AM
a guy who can't stand your constant whining
A whine post about whiners. Oki dokie. Now a quick glance at your profile shows me you tried to get the IB helm for 3 characters. Looks to me that you're more annoyed by that recent experience. Lets be frank (he's a handsome devil after all), if you were any good at pvp. You would not have made this post. More to the point, whenever you see a post asking for a nerf, is it a good pvp player? No, it's some PVEer who stepped foot in crucible and got their arse handed to them.
