Should Xûr sell Etheric Light?
Would you buy Etheric light from Xûr or grind for it?
Edit: Remember, Xûr's strange coins are losing purpose cuz we've all gained exotics he sells

No way I think it should be a challenge and a reward to get. No not RNG type reward but a serious reward. That's not to say if he were to sell it I would buy the shït out of it.

Anyway, you will be able to buy motes of light with your SC's for rerolling gear - also exchangeable for glimmer I believe (but could be wrong)

I'd rather he didn't because you'd have people buy them in bulk in the first week and have 3 34 characters. It would be the equivalent of him selling raid gear, which people wouldn't like either.

Yes but make it somewhat expensive or only once a week. Etheric light will also drop from the Iron Banner at Rank 3 and 5. Even so it is going to be very, very hard to get. By having it drop at POE Level 34 they are excluding the majority of the Destiny player base from having access to it. With no matchmaking Bungie once again has made the best gear and upgrades available to only a privileged few players that have a good supply of available friends to play with . . .just like raids.

Add in ascending an exotic with the shard and you'd be 33. Then you could try your luck with a solid team at 34, and this is all day one. I won't mention that the etheric light is [supposedly] going to be possible nightfall loot. (Been confirmed to have been said by Deej)

3 RepliesI think he should but I understand the concerns about hitting max level almost immediately if he does. But also consider you need those for guns as well right? I mean I have probably 30+ guns to max out now. If I get 1 per week for PoE it's going to take until Destiny 2 to get everything leveled. And even at that point I'd probably want to level up lots of different armors with different abilities. Have some for PvE specific some doe PvP. Ones with different perks and ammo capacities. I think this is awesome now everyone won't have on the same 5 pieces of armor. But it might take a long time unless they update the NF drops to include it over ascendant stuff...
