The campaign is as deep as a kiddie pool, and the multiplayer is always broken or unbalanced completely, or has some shit mechanic thrown in to help terrible players be good.

Yes. It's attempt at making a deeper plot was killed by the ending, and all progress made towards being an interesting story was wiped away by Halo 3.
