Not true exactly.
The first few months of TDB he sold the new exotics as a 2-1 ratio over old exotics.
While the new exotics were much smaller in numbers they showed up much more often than the old exotics.(besides voidfang lol)
For all we know it will be the same for HoW and every DLC afterward.
