You have alot more to think about wen setting character up on borderlands and more freedom to do so, destiny gives you nothing it's for people who don't like using their grey matter

True enough, to be honest though it's hard to compare the games to each other. Besides genre these games both focus o different aspects, as you said you have more freedom on borderlands for sure and you have to think how to set up your character ( skills, guns etc.) As for destiny you never really run out of things to do as long as you can bring yourself to keep grinding bounties, strikes and raids. Anyhow both games are very enjoyable in their own way.
