Easy solution: Don't hide on the rocks.
You would think at least one person on ur Fireteam had the balls to go down there.

You would think that except I was soloing the Nightfall so I was the only person on my Fireteam.

I had the same problem...but only when i tried to solo it. It may be used to deter soloing.
