True but it sounds like it wasn't intentional. Bungie tweeted about it so hopefully we will have more info soon.

Ah ok, I was gonna say it's not really a cheese cause their snipers can still hit you too.

Yep - those Hobgoblins can still one shot you if they snipe your head.
