I've been around since day one also and I think the course they took is actually interesting. I mean, Crota was fun for a while, but after a few runs through it everything else was just auto pilot. It didn't take much thought and wasn't all that difficult to complete (all legit). VoG is still a bit fun, but even that you already know every step and just run through it. Although it can be fun to help others learn the raids. I'd rather try out this new (and hopefully randomized) arena mode and give it a shot. They did say they have a raid in the works for later, most likely summer and free to play (or an add on to the HoW?). I don't think people should be panicking already. I say just let the content release and then see if you actually like the mode or not. Some people who complained may even like it more than a raid, or maybe not. Time will tell.
