By the time I got there, they had the boss down to 10% health. I had to fire an entire clip of sniper rifle rounds from the ledge at the Nexus to finish him off. An entire clip! I was there for 30 seconds. Now that's earning an exotic! Much harder than grinding for 23 strange coins.

There's no way to "work" for TLW. You got lucky. I got mine from a NF. I have also got strange coins from the same nightfall on a different character. There's no difference lol

2 RepliesNo such thing as earning....it's a random drop you earn strange coins from doing weeklies...it's like working and getting paid...spend your money on items not randomly get it...stupid post

I got my first LW helping a buddy at the Crota CP. Didn't run sword, didn't even pop a distaction bubble, or make orbs. Took 10 minutes. Wouldn't say I earned it. Only guns earned in this game are through missives. Thorn, Bad Juju, Invective, etc..
