It might be worth it. There are some items in there that you can get. But nothing really effects long-term play, unless you don't know some of the mechanics.

Broken red eye orb in the path upper right. Killing all 3 cyclops gets you the ladle from the handmaiden in the hut, plus pursuer whet the pair were.
