Actually, that news article was written by Urk, not DeeJ. I haven't seen DeeJ's twitter account, but if you're linking the news article, which was not written by DeeJ. Just pointing that out. On a side note, holy shit, Urk is alive. I swear it's been years since we heard anything from him.

We'll have to wait and see. I am disappointed that there will be no raid available but am hopeful that this means they will put a lot of thought into it and improve their raids in general. VoG was outstanding, CE was difficult to maneuver but ultimately very simple. The new one may be going under massive scrutiny by the developers to make sure its better than before. Of course, if it does come out and we're forced to pay for the HoW raid separately, we will all be pissed off, regardless of whether they improved it or not.

1 ReplyThis was the only reason I bought the expansion. The raids are fun. If there's no raid it's not worth. You're already ruining the crucible by listening to whiners, now you're releasing a half ass expansion for the same price as a full expansion? Lame Bungie. You know a refund would be great.

6 RepliesHow are you all so ignorantly stupid? READ THE -blam!-ING ARTICLE. It clearly says that there WILL be a raid releasing AFTER HoW's release. This is because bungie wants to fill the content gap between HoW and Comet.

I think Bungie listened to everyone saying they wish there was more variety to the end game modes, and they are still going to get attacked for it. I am still cautiously hyped.

So if I take the experience of the dark below to form expectations about this next expansion now that there's no raid, which was the only think worth a -blam!- out of the whole dark below, then I'm looking at "endgame" that I'm able to complete in two hours, crappy exotics and endless pvp shoved down my throat. If my higher level gear is coming out of a pvp activity I'm gonna have to buckle down and go get the $12 that game stop will give me for the disc because there's no way I'm grinding on pvp, ever. Last time I ever buy a season pass that's for sure.

But there is the Prison of elders which we dont know what is in it. Three person activity and we dont know what it holds. It could be just as good as a raid. And they are postponing the raid meaning they are confident in what they are making and giving us something else to suffice
