I hate seeing like 3-4 heavy ammo packs on the ground and not be able to pick them up and save them.

I'm the same makes me shoot rockets at dregs just to pick them up

I do the same thing, I'll shoot rockets at anything so I can pick them up.

You do realize that's a waste? You could just save the ammo drop and come back to it if you need more say after you legitimately need them because you wasted some on a boss. But hey that's my OCD. People wasting things. Leaving it there is conserving not wasting.
