1 ReplyI like the flow, when I first ran it to me it felt like what I thought a strike would be, strong firefights to the boss with a couple of routes up hill. To me it feels the best.

It's not because Omnigul is hard; it'd because it's long. You have 2 separate parts of which you must "firefight" until they tell you to proceed. Not only that, the final arena in which you fight here is about 1/3 the size of the tower's main floor. WAY TO SMALL!!! You're forced to stay back, either in the entrance or the room at the far right. Otherwise you can sit there and rack up 1,000's of kills. That's how I got my Autorifle & Fusion Rifle Grimoire kills up.

I used to think the same, but now it's a glimmer farm. Pop Ether Seeds and Black Wax Idol and see the glimmer roll in.

I play for fun. Cabal are not fun to fight. I would rather fight omnigul 5x back to back than valus once.

I spent 45 minutes (350 kills and only a blue engram) earlier soloing it. Then got with a friend not long after and got dropped into omnigul again. I dont know what it is but it was funner soloing it for the 45 minutes than being in a group doing it for 20

1 ReplyMy problem with this strike is how frequently it pops up, and that's what makes me leave. Twice in a row? Irritating, but fine. Three times? No. Twice, then Mars, then back to Omnigul? Also no. Hell, a few weeks ago, it kept trying to throw me in Omnigul[i] 8 times in a freaking row[/i]; did the first two, left, requeued, got thrown into it again, let, requeued... I finally got frustrated, turned off the console, and didn't touch Destiny for about a week and a half.

I want them to make the Rasputin bunker mission a strike. It feels so much like one already. Omnighul is just ridiculous. Two manned the Nightfall one time and the two of us ended up with over 500 combined kills.
