This NEEDS to stop
I've seen many people on this forum making fun of how DPJ talks.
Mocking him.
Teasing him.
It's just awful.
Why do people make fun of something that someone can't change about themselves? It isn't DPJ's fault that he talks in a funny way. I've seen his videos, and when he says something funny, he really tries and tries again to correct it. [u]How would [i]you[/i] feel if an entire forum made fun of you for something you couldn't change?[/u] Let him make videos, let him have fun, don't chastise him for speaking funny. If you've ever been bullied, you know how this feels. The bungie.net that I know is better than this (hell, the b.net that I knew is pretty much gone now) All I ask is

The only reason people make fun of him is "soowos wayjeem" I don't take his speech impediment and accent as valid reasons to poke fun at him because I'm just too old for that kind of humor :/

It's clearly a speech impairment and not an accent. He's from England but he cannot pronounce his R's very well (eg "Suwos Wegime) not his fault but to call it an accent is false

1 ReplyI don't see a problem with DPJ. He seems like a nice enough guy. He obviously genuinely enjoys what he does and he found way to provide for his family doing it. If only we could all be so lucky. Is he my favorite YouTuber? No, it's not really for me, but I see no reason to be filled with vitriol and anger towards the guy. I know he's active on the forums here. So DPJ, if you're reading this, keep doing your thing man.

I can't understand this. I really can't. I mean, morninafterkill does sound a bit weird. And planet destiny sounds like a robot. But that doesn't mean people are mean about them. So why dpj? Perhaps dpj does have an accent but I know lots of people who do! Keep getting haters dpj. It just shows how much of a good YouTuber you are.

No i've never been bullied, I was blessed with being a big bastard in a rough town. The internet isn't "real life" though. People say shit they wouldn't say because they can. They vent and they rage, we all need to vent sometimes. People take words far too much to heart. I've just had an "argument" with someone in another thread. I like banter. I like it even more if people come up with amusing insults, especially ones I can steal for later use. Everyone should have banter. Stop taking things so damn seriously. You'll end up prematurely bald.
