If you are from the country of Canada you are referred to as Canadian. Internally it's Canadien perhaps, externally, no.
Canadians are a good bunch, it's wrong to generalise about an entire country because of a handful you've met online.

So your critique how someone internally spells their nationality is OK. It is a globally accepted spelling by the way. So that makes no sense. My experience is not based on gaming although I understand the forum topic premises that. Guilty of generalizing, yes. Tempered though by the inclusion of 'can be' in my stated opinion.
