When I got mine (the 2nd week of VoG) it didn't have the reputation it has now, I just thought it was cool to get an exotic gun at the time. I primarily used heavy machine guns then, so I didn't even use it for a while. Ice breaker and Gjallahorn were the first two exotic guns I attained in this game.
