If it's strictly for "Gaming", then just go with a Monitor 27" or smaller. Otherwise, go all out and get a 4K TV. Sony or Samsung are Top Tier. You will notice a difference in your K/D Ratio when you play on a Larger screen/Higher Re-fresh-Rate TV, when compared to always playing on a Smaller Monitor that has a 3/5ms. rate.
Keep in mind that if you play on a larger screen, you will have to turn your head to look at your HUD/MAP, rather than just your eyes doing all the work when playing on a smaller screen. You will try to find ways to compensate for the lose of milliseconds which in the end do add up.
I started playing Destiny more often now, so I am looking into purchasing a monitor dedicated to gaming/editing.
Good luck in your Bounty.
