I had a six year old Panasonic 42" plasma before my Vizio. I loved that thing but didn't have wife approval to buy a new TV while the ST60 was out. In November our apartment was hit by lighting and fried everything we owned. Our Yamaha receiver, cable box, PS4, and TV. Thankfully nationwide payed for everything. I did my research and got the M-series due to the price and being one of the best LEDs out right now.
