1 and 2 were top down rpg games. 3 and Nv were first person.

I've been playing FO for about 16 years. I just cringe a little when someone associates first person shooter with FO: 3;NV. It has first person and third person perspective. I've done complete third person melee toons.

Well then, what would you have me call it? Given that the game starts you out in 1st person and in my opinion the best way to experience that game is in 1st person, and given that is is a shooter since most of the weapons in the game are guns. I'd call it a 1st person shooter rpg.

I guess I'm making a fuss out of nothing. I'll just refer to FO 3 and NV as post-apocalyptic RPGs.
