They can barely handle 1080p nevermind 4k

Xbox One has issues with 1080p, PlayStation 4 really does not. Sony has mentioned a software update to the PS4 to enable 4K video output for video streaming like Netflix which supports 4K. Currently PC is the only platform which supports 4K gaming because of the more flexible hardware add-ons a user can install. Besides, 4K monitors/TVs are expensive and files are just too large to fit into a physical disc. 4K can currently only be streamed. I think PS5 and the next Xbox will definitely support 4K, however.

Hahahahahahahahaha. Yeah that's why every game in 1080p has massive framerate issues on ps4. Every game that Sony forces into 1080p to win some pathetic numbers game has shit framerates, remember tomb raider? I'm all set. when your ps4 can run 60fps 1080p smoothly like my pc tell me it doesn't struggle with the resolution.

You can't say it's the ps4 that can't handle it. It's lazy ass devs. -blam!- ubisoft botched the shit out of unity. A true test of hardware is the shit first parties make. Don't make uninformed statements about the ps4.
