I told my crush I liked her after asking her to prom (yes btw). She said she does too but can't get into a relationship because she doesn't want to risk our friendship :/

I agree with Missouri, if anything this'll only make the friendship better. And if it does go south, just don't be awkward and how her that it doesn't effect the friendship... That happened to me.

Tell her that dating you isn't risking your friendship, it's building on it, even if you broke up, you would eventually end up friends again.
