Because titans and warlocks died and the weapon was made from the dead's armor. Any hunter armor in there? Nope, they all whent invisible and fled lol.

She was at the Battle of the Twilight gap. And the cloak she wore "strength of the pack" would suggest that she wasn't alone. Hunters were at the Twilight gap. Sure it wasn't a majority but still they were there and if I remember correctly HUNTERS also warned the city of the attack.
