I thought of it as after you burn all of the enemies and make orbs from their ashes (sunsinger) you retrieve the orbs as a Voidwalker and nova bomb.

So it would be ashes then. They still have a weak ass description for some items.

Just really lame description. They could gave made it much better. Also, most of the weapons from vendors have the exact same description.
