Was actually thinking about the idea earlier. But my idea was rather than a six pack grenade launcher type heavy, I thought itd be interesting to have a primary & heavy combo. Kinda like a noob tube attached to the primary either pulse or assault rifle. Both weapons would have their own skill tree but would be tethered together. You could offer variants of this weapon so whatever damage buff be it solar, arc, or boid would also be the grenade damage type.
Equipping the weapon would cancel out your heavy slot. But there'd be no weapon switch time. You could have timed rounds of explode on impact rounds.
Idk it'd be cool to have a chained weapon combo.
