I would like the Spartan laser to be a weapon personally, just called something different "Charge Rifle" was a name I had in mind

I would like to see a new Heavy added, but that is not a Heavy WEAPON, but a Heavy SHIELD. Ideally it would act as a second health meter, or third if you are using Blessing of Light (or another over shield ability). Alternatively, it is an absolute immunity for "X" seconds, where "X" is equal to it's current ammo. Either idea would also have a "forcepush" bubble, kind of like a Titan's but instead it damages and throws enemies with whatever element the shield is, within it's AoE. Using this ability would use up all ammo in the heavy slot and you lose the shield.

RAILGUNS!! As a heavy! How awesome would that be? And if rounds could over penetrate and do AoE damage.

Can adapt perks like firefly, explosive rounds and an extended version of headseeker. You get about 10-14 shots in PvE but a heavy ammo on the ground only gives 3-5 Has a variable spool up time, but not as long as FR's, more of a hitch in the trigger for most.

Heavy weapon type- something similar to a flamethrower but with either burn(flames), arc(lightning) and void(void beam). Could be great when focused on a single boss enemy or a bunch of small enemies.

Melee weapons like swords, an exotic sword too, they would be 3 slash kills and 2 slam kills

Grenade launcher. Wouldn't be as powerful as some of the guardian ones, but give us some interesting types, such as double bounce where you can try and pool shoot it over barriers and around walls. Sticky for tagging your foes. Mined for laying down the sneaky traps from afar. Give it something like, three rounds in a mag. So it would take three shots to take a guardian from full health to dead.

Melee weapons would be pretty sweet. There should be some more types of heavy ordnance though too.

Was actually thinking about the idea earlier. But my idea was rather than a six pack grenade launcher type heavy, I thought itd be interesting to have a primary & heavy combo. Kinda like a noob tube attached to the primary either pulse or assault rifle. Both weapons would have their own skill tree but would be tethered together. You could offer variants of this weapon so whatever damage buff be it solar, arc, or boid would also be the grenade damage type. Equipping the weapon would cancel out your heavy slot. But there'd be no weapon switch time. You could have timed rounds of explode on impact rounds. Idk it'd be cool to have a chained weapon combo.

Grenade launcher, some kind of constant laser beam? Idk. They pretty much covered each major type of gun I can think of. The rest are pretty much just variations like say a mini gun. Which would basically be the same as the low impact machine gun. Normal pistols are about the only thing but they would need to be in unrealistically overpowered to compete with other primary weapons.

Magazine based handguns, primary or special Class based heavies. Titans have rambo type minigun, hunters have a single shot sniper but does massive damage of course and warlocks have thundergun type weapon

I like the idea of bringing SMGs in as primaries. High RoF, low impact. Basically the HardLight, Atheons Epilogue and Necrochasm, just...call then SMGs as they are. And grenade launchers as heavies. Lower damage and aoe than rockets but higher RoF, arcing projectiles, perks like "cluster bomb - splits into multiple smaller projectiles" and "concuss - stuns enemies within range" and etc. They would fit perfectly into the gap between rockets and LMGs.
