Yes you should always give up what you love to be miserable because its real life.. Lmfao Better to find a girl that doesn't mind you gaming Take her out Friday and saturday nights and give her a world moving mattress pounding 3 times a week and she gives you the weeknights and Sundays for gaming. The OP never said anything about stopping altogther. He even made it sound like she actually wanted to compromise. And if your life is miserable hiding in a fantasy world will only make it worse. Gotta man up and face it.

First if all its not about hiding its about having fun and what makes you happy And although its prob a story made up for comedy value i have met quite a few girls like this with ultimatums .. And frankly thats bs Whether it be stop gaming or stop weekly poker night with friends you should never have to stop anything u love doing. As long as you have money in the bank a good job date night at least once a week And a healthy sex life you can do whatever makes you happy as long as it doesn't negatively impact your life Any sort of ultimatum is not a healthy relationship And being a social worker i see many of these and its usually about control.
