Prepare yourself for the noobs sniping in ROC strikes with the icebreakers because they have it.
This isn't a nightfall. You don't have to stand on the rocks. The ones that are on the top of the area where the 3 waves of [b]vex[/b] spawn on the Archon Priest [b]strike[/b] when you're opening the door near the beginning. I understand you're JUST NOW getting an icebreaker, but please.. Just don't.
[spoiler]EDIT: Apparently this post was unclear to a few. I don't care if you have icebreaker, I don't care if you bought it, I don't care if you use it. However I do care if you sit at the back of the map sniping off goblins, getting essentially no kills leaving me to do 90% of the work. That's leeching off of me, and is not a play style. I think the icebreaker is great, and I use it for a few things.. But this isn't a nightfall. You're not going to die instantly, and you don't have to stand on that diagonal rock at the back of the 3 wave area on the Archon Priest strike about 1000 meters away, or whatever it is doing nothing for anyone.

EDIT 6: Now that this thread has gone on for a few days and it has played out to my amusement, I will inform everyone that this does slightly bother me, but it doesn't matter to me all that much and I felt like getting a rise out of some people. I actually get annoyed if i am teamed up with players like myself (see: GuardianThatHogsAllTheKills) so if someone is sitting in the back sniping IDGAF because that's more stuff for me to pewpew.

Some people just like sniping on occasion for a change. I'm one of those. Usually stick with primary but just bought IB and did a strike, used mostly IB just to play around with it. Who cares.

Everyone plays differently. It still gets done and long as any annoying teammate is shooting the enemy, it still helps. Just don't bitch about everyone else. Plus, on a strike like that if you're any good you won't really need that other cruddy player.

I hear a few icebreaker shots going off, but when Rockets moves to the opposite side, these 2 wussies don't even come out to snipe him. In this case these 2 random's icebreakers were definitely OP. Operated Pussily.

This is why you dont play with randoms. Roc strikes? I dont have time for level 26 strikes with raids/weekly/nightfalls/bounties on 3 characters. Got more weapons than I need. Just get 2 good friends and you won't have to deal with that anymore.

1 ReplyI like the fact people can now be more useful in he raid but I do hate seeing ice breakers being broken in through the ROC strike. Had my first ice breaker since the first week and now it's just not that really special you see it ever where :/

1 ReplyI've always sniped on Winters Run strike, with and without Ice Breaker. Generally I end up getting the most kills/keeping the team alive.

I wouldn't call everyone who got ib through Xur a noob. Some of them are better snipers than most of us. Just haven't gotten it to drop. Just stop these childish posts.
