Invective has higher impact and range than a LOT of shotguns and higher rate of fire than almost all. And it regenerates ammo. It's one of the best shotguns in the game.

It is pretty funny how unreasonable it is. Sure, it's no randomly-generated Judgment with Hammer Forged and Shot Package, but it has higher impact, stability, [i]and[/i] range than the Swordbreaker, in exchange for a marginally slower rate of fire, mitigated if not neutralized by the [i]free[/i] Full Auto upgrade. I'm sure you've seen what the aforementioned Swordbreaker can do in the crucible, and if you have, anything more I say about the Invective should be an insulting level of redundancy. I saved a bit of face by saying "one of the" as opposed to simply "the best", but that's an objective statement regardless.
