To an extent... So I was on patrol in the Forgotten Shores when I came across a familiar situation, a Reaver Vandal that took 2 heavy mags, 3 golden gun shots, 3 fusion rifle mags and 5 mags from my plus rifle to kill. Granted that's not the full compliment of heavy rounds + heavy synth and another full compliment of heavy, your super and everything else you're carrying but was nice to see he's still around in part at least.
