Badger CCL - Best Scout Rifle
Got it from Legendary engram, perks are "precision kills drastically increase reload speed" and "ADS increases effective Range". This thing has wonderfully balanced stats and reloads SO quickly. I haven't maxed it yet, but does anyone else have any personal experience or input with this rifle?

Fair enough slow rate of fire. But the range on mine more than makes up for it. Mind you I haven't used it in weeks. But it's a lot of fun in CE when the ogres come out. Drops the sword bearer pretty quick too.

Best one is my b-line trauma with the exact fatebringer perks plus the last shot makes more damage. Its a beast, love that you can fire it so fast. Even the whole handling of this weapon is perfect. Just got lucky from a random legendary engram

2 RepliesOk not bragging but I have a Badger CCL with Firefly and hammer forged..it is by far the best Scout rifle in the game. It also has fast reload after precision kills. I love sniping out Snipers across the map with a Scout rifle.

Gheleons demise is a beast. Saterienne rapier( crucible quartermaster one) is also handy. I have a crypt dweller and badger which I don't touch.

It's a nice scout rifle but it shoots really slow and has some heavy recoil. I actually prefer Vision of Confluence. Not only does it shoot faster but their is virtually no recoil so you can shoot and the gun won't move an inch.

4 RepliesI love it. But i recently got Fang of ir Yut from hm crota. I haven't maxed it yet but it feels even better than the badger i mean 27 rounds in a scout rifle magazine is just insane.

I don't understand why people compare guns to other guns when they can all share the same perks. In this case the badger is the same gun as a.1, Aries nemesis, demise, etc. Any of the high impact scouts. All the same gun with basically the same magazine. Outlaw + Firefly (pve) or Outlaw + Third Eye (pvp) are what you need. Field scout and/or AP rounds are a must for the middle tree

I have gotten a few with good rolls but it's too slow of a ROF for me. I love mida, fang, or my NITC. Just got a new NITC with luck in chamber, explosive rounds, and firefly.

1 ReplyGheleon's Demise is better in my opinion. But when the situation calls for a Scout rifle nothing tops the MIDA. That hidden stagger perk is deadly in PvE and PvP both.

I got who's next, send it/flared mag/snapshot, firefly. Pretty awesome but gets no playtime over my Gheleon's demise.

I like my Gheleons Demise more, I have both. Not sure if it's because I had to grind for it but it's a beast in any scenario except for shielded shanks...

1 ReplyI got Another NITC last night that seems awesome. Same stats as Fang of Ir Yut but has firefly and spray and play. Also field scout or explosive rounds. I had a couple badgers and didn't like them. dismantled them

I have badger ccl with firefly and explosive rounds it's ok but nothing like the VoC. Badger is a good scout would be better if had a auto perk, only because my controllers break from pulling the trigger to often.

Badger is good, but NITC, GD, and SR are better. In my opinion of course.
