One Thing Must Be Said About NIGHTFALL Drops !
RNGesus......SMH ! How are your nightfall drops ?
EDIT #1 Yes I know my grammar sucks !
EDIT #2 So this week I got for two characters:
1- Legendary machine gun
2- Legendary shotgun
(NOT VERY HAPPY)
EDIT#3 So I just noticed that someone said they got 3 Energies (In a different thread) from this Nightfall and that it has no burn.
EDIT#4 I got 5 Strange Coins this week ! :(

1 ReplyDid it twice. First run got mida multi tool. Second run got dragons breath. My buddies were pissed cuz they either got shards or energies both times haha

I go on three week cycles. One week it's boss status 3 legendaries. Next two it's coins and legendary stuff (shards and energy included)

As long as I get the experience boost that I'm after I'm fine with whatever drops. I don't care and don't go into the nightfall expecting anything other than that. 16 weeks worth of nightfalls, you can't expect great RNG loot every week. It's not a raid. You want gear faster? Go grind ROC strikes until the cows come home. You don't have to wait for reset so you can keep playing until you hit your 1 out a 100 chance at getting something decent.

4 RepliesThe reward for Nightfall is the Exp / Rep buff for the rest of the week. Anything else is a gift from RNGesus. You want to run Nightfall with 2 or 3 characters every week and get a kick-ass gun or armor for each completion? In three weeks you'd be complaining that there aren't enough exotics in the game because you have them all. Play for the buff [u]and[/u] the [u]potential[/u] for a cool reward.

Last week I got 2 crappy scout rifles, 1 for each of my characters. The same one too. I really don't believe anymore that it's RNG.

2 RepliesThe problem is that Bungie forgot to update the nightfall loot tables upon release of the expansion. If I recieved "radiant" energy or shards from the nightfall it wouldn't be a problem. Sort of a noob mistake Bungie.

Me and my friend have both got exotics in the last 4 nightfalls, I got a thunderlord from it today then got a last word from a ROC strike right after it. Today was a good day.

The nightfall drops are not "usually" bad. They're [b]always[/b] bad. The only good drop I've ever gotten was my venation III. The nightfall is harder than the raid (most of the time) and it gives such shitty rewards.

Since the answer I really wanted wasn't available I selected NOT SURE. Let's be honest, With as many weapons and pieces of armor that are available for drops the odds of you getting exactly what you want are very steep, therefore while you may score an exotic, if it's say Super Good Advice would anyone really say that was a good drop.
