I've gotten two fatebringers back to back and only one vex -
Around 60 HM completions, (78 total but not sure how to tell how many were hard exactly) and I've got 6 Vex's and2 Fatebringers.

I've gotten 3 Fatebringers and no Vex. The funny thing is, I had a maxed FB from a while back and I was running hard VOG and got a DOUBLE FB drop!!! Was crazy, everyone was pissed that I didn't get 1 but 2! Then I also got a double helmet drop at the end. So now each of my Characters have a FB

I've gotten 5 vexes and no VOCs. Have every weapon except this one from the vault.

With maybe 10 completions I've got 3 vex 1 fate 1 voc 2 corrective measures a hawk moon ice breaker an a suros the vault has been very good to me

According to the Grimoire - 30 VoG completions (I think is more) - 1 Vex, 0 FateBringer (never even seen it drop for the team) 5+ VoC, 10+ Found Verdict, 2 Praedyths Timepiece, 2-5 Praedyths Revenge, 2-3 Corrective Measure, 1 Hazen Vengence 0 Praetorian Foil (only seen drop once) 25+ combo of Ships/Sparrows. Lots of energy, shards, chatter white. Duplicate Plan C once off Atheon, TLW once out of the Gorgon chest.

2 Vex, 1 Fatebringer. No corrective measure, hezen vengeance, timepiece or foil though. Only 1 Epilogue, 5 or 6 PR and VoCs. Got 3 cheat pieces my last run through... The drops in VoG are weird.

20-25 hard completions and only one vex and one Fatebringer. I never had the sniper rifle until this week and got 3 in 1.5 runs. Still no fusion, Rocket, machine gun, or titan boots. RNG is a strange beast. Most people I play with who don't have one or the other are missing Fatebringer. If I had to guess I would say the drop rates are similar if not the same.

I've received 5 vex so far and only 2 fatebringers. Vex drops easily now a days.
