Your worst RNG moment?
Hey guys! I decided to start a thread and see what everyone's worst moment was when dealing with RNG?
[b]Mine:[/b] Spent half an hour farming glimmer that i needed to upgrade my Heart of the Praxic Fire to 2.0. Then broke down a Patience and Time to get an exotic shard, and i bought the upgrade. Then went and immediately did the nightfall, and what do you think my roll was at the end? Heart of the Praxic Fire 2.0..........

Edit: Looks like we've hit 1,000+ replies! I don't know if that's a good thing or a depressingly sad thing that we've all had such terrible luck. Lol either way, keep em comin' guys!
Edit: Wow! 2,000+ replies! Judging from the number of replies to my thread about your "best RNG moment," i'd say we all have more bad luck than good with this game. Lol

Never getting a single piece of legendary Titan armor from the crytarch and I'm level 23 with him.

Had hawkmoon 1.0 for a while. Got it right before tdb came out. Sat on it hoping 2.0 would drop for me. Got tired of waiting and upgraded it 2 weeks ago. The following nightfall I got 2 hawkmoon 2.0s.

When I got the NLB from Ir Yut and Crota. Then right after I played the VoG and got the NLB from Aethon and the exotic chest gave me shards.

I've wanted Thunderlord since release. Got it from Deathsinger. Xur sold it 3 days later.

Looking for Monte Carlo, my last rng gun and I went 30 and two in crucible and the guy who had one less lol than I got the mother f'ing Monte Carlo

My friend had gjallarhorn and I had patience and time. Did a nightfall..... He got a gjallarhorn and I got a patience and time. Got my gjallarhorn eventually, but this was really frustrating for both of us at the time.

In ONE run of Crota's end I got THREE Truth rocket launchers. One from Deathsinger, one from Crota, and had one waiting for me at the Postmaster...

combination of best and worst: I played pretty poorly in control yesterday, but not awful. at the end I got an exotic :) no land beyond (aka big stick) :( so I was pretty excited because hey, I got an exotic from crucible but its almost as if rngsus was trolling me lol I'm sure it'll be fun to use occasionally though

I backpacked two 28's through the valus night fall the other week and I got shards and they both got a gally

Just ran Crota hard with 2 31's and 4 32's and the 31 titan died before we even got outside and we downed Crota flawlessly after surviving ogres and he got the Crux for sitting there dead

My last 3 weeks of nightfalls I've been getting shit, but I've seen 2 galleys drop ,a hawk moon , and P&T.I mean I like seeing other people get good loot but damn! Lol

Carried my brother and sister in law through the nightfall. He gets Icebreaker. She gets Gjallarhorn. I get Unwilling Soul.

It's ongoing right now actually. I need a Legendary helmet for my Titan, and every helmet engram I get turns into shards (no surprise there) or Hunter and Warlock helmets. I guess I'm gonna have to grind marks to buy one.

3 RepliesOne day after a dry spell of no exotics I was ready to get one, determined to get one I farmed ROC for a legendary engram, after a full day I get 2, I go to see what they were shards but I leveled up and got a package, primary legendary engram, turns out I did get an exotic, NO LAND BEYOND
