Your worst RNG moment?
Hey guys! I decided to start a thread and see what everyone's worst moment was when dealing with RNG?
[b]Mine:[/b] Spent half an hour farming glimmer that i needed to upgrade my Heart of the Praxic Fire to 2.0. Then broke down a Patience and Time to get an exotic shard, and i bought the upgrade. Then went and immediately did the nightfall, and what do you think my roll was at the end? Heart of the Praxic Fire 2.0..........

Edit: Looks like we've hit 1,000+ replies! I don't know if that's a good thing or a depressingly sad thing that we've all had such terrible luck. Lol either way, keep em comin' guys!
Edit: Wow! 2,000+ replies! Judging from the number of replies to my thread about your "best RNG moment," i'd say we all have more bad luck than good with this game. Lol

And I laugh because I have experienced these things There is a serious problem with the rng...once you finally obtain something it's like there's an error in the code where the game starts dropping it more often or something...seriously how many times have you read that someone spent 1000 hours before they got their first ghorn and then 2 more dropped in the same week or something...even someone like me who doesn't have a ton of exotics has experienced this many times I really hope when they say they're fixing rng that it really works. I play this game more just for fun than for hunting loot, but it still sucks getting a bunch of duplicates

Deleted the untouched Dragon's Breath that had been in my vault for months. Already had a maxed one on my Warlock (just to have one in the collection). Went with two friends to run the three Nightfalls and three Crota normals - this was back as level 32's with 331 weapons pre-HoW. I was given three more Dragon's Breath launchers - two from NF's and the third from Crota. It was that day I swore eternal hatred for RNG!

Farmed up blades of Croat to get husk of the pit to drop. After a while I stopped and said I'll do it later. The next day it broke and now it won't drop

Did the nightfall this week with 2 random from lfg. Here are the rewards Nightfall 1: Me - Mida Random 1: Mida Random 2: Mida Nightfall 2 Me: Legendary fusion Rifle Random 1: No Land Random 2: No Land Nightfall 3 Me: Same fusion Rifle Random 1: Bones of Eao Random 2: Radiant Dance Machines That mida didn't help...I own all exotics except the ram....oh and I tried 74 helmet engrams for that haha
