YOUR WORST LOOT DROP EXPERIENCE!
Seriously, what was the most gut-wrenching, soul-destroying post-game reward scenario you've been in?
Example:
[i]Today, I began a Roc Strike and the rest of my team left. It was the Winter's End strike, so I continued on solo.
I managed to get all the way to the Archon Priest, when two other Guardians joined me. I was happy, cuz I knew it would have been a grind otherwise. 3 minutes later, we kill him.
The reward screen comes up. One of them had 22 kills, and one had 9. I myself had 183 kills. AND WHAT DOES THE 9-ER GET? NO LAND BEYOND![/i]
What is your tale of woe? True story btw.
[b]EDIT[/b]: I didn't have plans to play with NLB, I just wanted it for my collection.
[b]EDIT 2[/b]: To all people who complain about having [i]multiple[/i] exotics, but not the one they want; two things: Get in line, and, Exotic Shards.
[b]EDIT 3[/b]: I bought NLB from Xur while he was here. Still a little miffed, but I feel better now.

This week I got bull from crotas end on both characters radiant materials no weapons no nothing. BUT rngesus gifted me the beautiful fate bringer and found verdict in one drop

Started off bad, dude got a ghorn from gorgon chest. This made me the only one with out it. However from, Atheon, praise the lord, I got my gally. ^_^

Was the only one to survive killing Omnigul on hard and had to kill the rest of the room by myself. Took like 15 mins and I got shards while everyone else that was dead got the good shit

Me and my friend were doing a nightfall we wer at the boss fight and just as we were about to kill him another guy joined we finished and the guy that joined at the end was the one that got an exotic chest piece AND ME AND MY FRIEND GET NOTHING!!!!

Im missing on 3 exotic weapons for my collection. Necrochasm, thunderlord and plan c(fml!!). A few days ago we killed crota on hm again. 2 cruxes, 2 thunderlords and a plan c. GUESS WHO GOT THE FANG AND NOTHING ELSE.

2 RepliesSo around the time the game first came out I spent 60 dollars because I wanted the hottest new game. It's called destiny, it was pretty op at first but then it got nerfed because the money it made wasn't enough. So now I'm stuck with half a game until I waste 20 bucks on dlc

Edited by semi sentient: 4/4/2015 8:22:47 PMI purchased Dragons Breath on Friday because it was one of the few exotics I was missing. Immediately afterwards I ran through Crota on normal and Dragons Breath dropped. :\ Bungie felt my pain and gave me Crux of Crota this morning though. ;-)

Similar story i joined my friends in nightfall right when the boss died, i only got 9 kills, and bam i get hard light.
