YOUR WORST LOOT DROP EXPERIENCE!
Seriously, what was the most gut-wrenching, soul-destroying post-game reward scenario you've been in?
Example:
[i]Today, I began a Roc Strike and the rest of my team left. It was the Winter's End strike, so I continued on solo.
I managed to get all the way to the Archon Priest, when two other Guardians joined me. I was happy, cuz I knew it would have been a grind otherwise. 3 minutes later, we kill him.
The reward screen comes up. One of them had 22 kills, and one had 9. I myself had 183 kills. AND WHAT DOES THE 9-ER GET? NO LAND BEYOND![/i]
What is your tale of woe? True story btw.
[b]EDIT[/b]: I didn't have plans to play with NLB, I just wanted it for my collection.
[b]EDIT 2[/b]: To all people who complain about having [i]multiple[/i] exotics, but not the one they want; two things: Get in line, and, Exotic Shards.
[b]EDIT 3[/b]: I bought NLB from Xur while he was here. Still a little miffed, but I feel better now.

Played the regular Devils Lair strike you get from the Earth map to knock out a bounty. Had one of them players that liked to dance and die a lot. The same player had three messages at the bottom of the screen about finding legendary engrams during the strike. I know how the game is, I've even benefited from the randomness once or twice, but still. Three in a row on a level 12 strike? Seriously?

My first 6 or 7 crota runs on normal and hard only got me the head and leg armor i had to grind iron banner to get to 32

After the crota raid first attempt on my warlock and did not get rewarded a single piece of armor

1 week I ran all 3 nfs and got 11 strange coins each I then ran 1 vog and got straight energy.

I got gjallarhorn from a nightfall back in october. The others got shards.

Two weeks in a row all I've got from nightfalls has been shards, energies, and coins.

Got no land beyond on deathsinger. Then another No land beyond for Crota.

Playing Crota normal and getting shards or energy from all of it and all I need is the chestplate. Worst week ever. Next I FINALLY got the chest

I went on a 21 day drought of running everything and not receiving a single exotic or raid gear piece that I was lacking.

Hard VoG this week on my warlock and after beating Atheon all I got was Aspect of Glass and timebreaker and I didn't get any other weapons at all from the entire raid. So after that I signed out of the character to run it on my other 2. A few days later once I signed back in I went to the tower and seen I had something at the postmaster. [spoiler]It was the vex. :][/spoiler]

Yesterday I did VOG normal for the fifth time overall and I got my fifth chatterwhite and nothing else(I've gotten no weapons from Atheon on normal at all)

Last week in the Phogoth nightfall my friend joined in right before we killed him (We waiting for him to land so he would get the drop) I had just under 200 kills...my friend that joined got 0 all across the bored. I got shards and he got a suros lol. Not that I care because I already had one and so did he but really bungie?

Soloed Omnigol nightfall without burns, on a 31 Warlock, and no gjallahorn. Took me 4 hours killing 366. Ended up getting seven shards. Placed them together with the 450 others I have in storage.

I've had a few Crota hard mode runs where I got nothing but shards/energy.

For the last 12 nightfalls I've done I've either gotten shards, energy, or coins (shards and energy from dismantling weapons and armour).

Did nexus with a friend got shards out of it when I did the most work
