I didn't hate the crucible, but I didn't like it either. I found, for me anyway, that farming in order to get crucible marks was a heck of a lot more enjoyable than playing crucible. And now I find ranking up any faction other than vanguard was pointless because I suck at crucible. Destiny should be a game where you can choose to play PvE, PvP or both. We shouldn't be forced to play something we don't enjoy.
