Thats horrable. I can get 5 marks in 30 min of pvp, even less if i play rumble. U know how long it can take to get 50 mats? No smart player waisted precious materials on stupid marks. U can get 100 cruciable marks in a day. Eazy

You're making the failed assumption that everyone has countless hours to play a game. Some people log in for 10-30 minutes a day if that to play. Some people prefer only PvE where they can pick up materials as they go. If someone is only spending their few minutes of play doing PvE, there really isn't any time to do PvP so preference is really on trading the materials that they have rather than burning up time doing PvP. Especially when a good materials route can net you a bunch of materials while you also complete bounties, public events, and do other things simultaneously.

Yes, 50 mats 30mins! I can farm 100/hour. Its required the same time. Plus in the pvp if you loose you sucked and wasted your time, but if you farming you always get the mats and always get the marks. You dont get it do you?

Not everyone wants to run the crucible, and untill now we didn't have too.

PVE only players should go to PVP and running around and checking every corners for chects, but not shoot a bullet :D I have a phone call once while im play pvp (not in this game) and stopped for a minutes. After that the other of my teammates starting to shoot me, hit me, to play. To hell with theese morons...

Not everyone has a Xbox Gold account or PSN Plus account to play online multiplayer, so yes it was beneficial to players who did not have a online subscription.

It was also much faster advancement, but Crucible players have brain damage so they didn't notice anyway.
