Ejected Black Hole or Huge Star?

Not sure if this has been posted, worthy of attention. Anyone with astronomy knowledge? What's your take?

  • Tough one. On the one hand there's no obvious gravitational lensing to point to a black hole, on the other hand 90 million years is way too recent for it to be a nebula created from a star with a mass close to that of a supermassive black hole. The multiple bright spots would suggest a nebula though.

It's a star, there's no pattern of orbit around the center, and since there are two places that are concentrated.

  • Considering what we think we know about super massive black holes, I would say that it is most likely a star...at least until they can prove otherwise.

    • This is just my opinion, but it looks like someone spilled spaghetti sauce on the monitor.
